So, this is my first Armentrout book. I have seen her name EVERYWHERE and was expecting a great book. Thankfully, I wasn't disappointed.I felt so much for Ember. At 15 she had to deal with the death of her father, and the "loss" of her mother. She takes on the responsibility of raising her younger sister while dealing with her gift and getting tortured at school. Lots of mystery with this one. I was going around and around trying to figure out who to trust. Just when I thought I had it, something would happen to prove me wrong! I love that in a book. If it's predictable, it won't hold my interest. Not a problem here! I can't wait to read on and find out more about this new world Ember has been thrust into. GREAT BOOK!Thanks to Spencer Hill Publishing for sending me the ARC to review!
